Mission

The Texas Enology Network endeavors to meet the informational and educational needs of the Texas wine industry, including industry partners, extension employees, and consumers by providing science-based information and learning opportunities.

 

The Texas Enology Network intends to serve:

    • Work-Readiness of Enology Personnel
    • Continuing Education
    • Specialized Training
    • Technology Extension and facilitate adoption of innovative practices by winery personnel
    • Interactive learning

    • Be a resource for accurate information of interest to enologists and winemakers
    • Organize pertinent available information from multiple institutions at one location
    • Provide links to accurate technical and compliance information sources already existing
    • Serve as an interactive site for real-time problem solving
    • Provide timely and topical information on current enology issues
    • Make available enology workshop and symposia materials for download
  • Research/Researchers
    • Collaboration in material development, joint ownership and peer-review
    • Recognition of contributions to achieving the mission of TEN
